Entercom’s CFO Planning to Resign Early Next Year

Steve Fisher, the chief financial officer at radio broadcasting giant Entercom Communications, has decided to step down after nearly two decades with the company, writes Jeff Blumenthal for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Fisher, who has been a CFO at Bala Cynwyd’s Entercom since 1998, will officially resign his position on February 28, but will stay on as a consultant.

“After 18 years, the time felt right to move on,” said Fisher.

Entercom President and CEO, David J. Field, praised Fisher crediting him with playing a major role in the success of the company.

“He has been involved in many aspects of our growth and development and made a meaningful impact on our operational efficiency and effectiveness,” he stated.

The company has retained executive search firm Spencer Stuart to fill the vacancy.
