The Valley Forge Casino Resort has put its faith in a new CEO, and the lone goal of that man, Eric Pearson, is to deliver the results it’s looking for.

“I am extremely excited about and honored by the opportunity that I’ve been given by the Valley Forge Casino Resort Board to serve as the CEO,” Pearson said in a Philadelphia Business Journal interview by Kenneth Hilario. “The only professional goal that I have in front of me now is to validate the faith they’ve put in me to … realize their goals.”

The industry veteran brings to King of Prussia a conviction about “the massive importance and impact (that) effective structure, culture, and a shared vision can have on a property,” he said. “My approach at Valley Forge Casino Resort will be to take the time needed to listen, ask questions, and understand the structure, culture, and vision that have made the property a success already and to find ways we can collaborate to take things to the next level.”

That likely means more of what’s already great about the resort, not significant reshaping.

“Valley Forge Casino Resort isn’t the typical casino and hotel that you find as you look across the regional casino industry in the United States,” Pearson said. “In terms of revenue mix of casino, hotel, convention, food and beverage, and entertainment, this property is probably the most balanced casino resort operation that I’ve seen outside the Las Vegas Strip.”
