Fans of the Rocky movies will get a chance to bid on the Lower Moreland mansion that featured as the home of Apollo Creed’s widow in the movie Creed, writes Jared Brey for Philadelphia Magazine.
The stunning, 23-year-old Huntingdon Valley home is spread over 16,000 square feet, and boasts a movie theater ideal for binge watching the entire Rocky series, a gorgeous library with hidden panels, indoor putting green, and a wraparound bar. The movie that made the estate famous showcased its beautifully crafted front gate and grandiose staircase.
The house also includes a separate wing over the garage with an enormous apartment. It has a veranda in the back that leads to a pool nestled in a five-acre, park-like setting featuring beautiful statues.
Montgomery County has assessed the property at $1,548,160, with estimated annual taxes of $63,228.
The estate will be put up for bid on Nov. 2 at 6 PM by auction house Max Spann.
