For those still “Zubats” over PokemonGo, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) has you covered. Their new website, PokeMontCo offers the inside scoop on everything Pokemon.

While experts anticipate the excitement over PokemonGo to dwindle as school approaches and others can’t wait for the craze to be over, the VFTCB encourage fans to get out and explore their parks, zoos, towns, and shopping malls in search of Weedles and Wigglypuffs.

The VFTCB realizes that the most popular game app in history provides a marketing opportunity too good to pass up.

It also offers VFTCB an opportune time to connect with millennials, teens, and GenXers, especially at Valley Forge Historical Park where many historical markers are Pokestops and rarer Pokemon, like Electabuzz, Clefable, Gloom and Scyther, can be found.

“We wanted to make it easier for fans to navigate our region, discover our attractions and catch Pokemon, “ says Ed Harris, VP of marketing and communications at the VFTCB.

The VFTCB even has a “Pokémon expert” who “has been out in the field hunting for rare finds, gyms and Pokéstops. Follow her adventures for tips and tricks on where to catch ’em all in Montgomery County.”
