QA Analyst

This position will design, implement, execute, and report on tests that exercise all aspects of CardConnect software – during development projects and prior to implementation. It is expected that these tests will include considerable automation at the UI and Web Services layer that can be integrated into the overall build and deployment process. He/she will contribute to the overall team automation approach by integrating tests into ‘lights out’ test execution.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of testing web applications that are integrated with SQL databases. He/she should have demonstrated experience with Web Services automation of REST, SOAP, JSON, and SSL-related systems. The person should have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues when assembling concise, complete, and actionable defect reports.

Senior Java Software Engineer

This position will architect, develop, test, and support the software components that implement the features and functions that differentiate CardConnect from other payment processors. This role requires initial and continued education on all Payment Card Industry (PCI) features, functionality, specifications, and standards. A mindset of heightened security is instrumental in the success of this role and CardConnect’s technology solution.

The ideal will understand the web’s most critical web application security vulnerabilities, and have Windows and Linux operating systems proficiency. He/she should maintain a high level of organization with acute attention to detail, and have a willingness to learn installation requirements and user functionality of CardConnect products.

Linux Systems Administrator

CardConnect operates a Linux infrastructure to support its payment gateway and merchant-facing products and services. An additional Linux engineer is needed to help support and maintain this infrastructure, provide 24/7 service to customers, and respond to the growing capacity requirements as the company continues to sell and board new customers. CardConnect currently operates all systems on stand-alone server hardware; this position includes defining and implementing a virtualization strategy.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient with the Linux Operating system, and have experience with MySQL and VMWare. UCS and NetAPP experience is a plus. He/she should have the ability to build and maintain a highly reliable 24/7 environment, and have the capacity to identify gaps in CardConnect’s environment and propose implementable solutions.
