Currently the most expensive property on the market in Pennsylvania, this stone mansion located on 70 acres at the top end of an upscale neighborhood in Fort Washington is being offered for $25 million, writes John Frank for Realtor.com.

The home, designed by noted Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly, features a stone exterior reminiscent of a Tuscan village. It was built in the 1990s by current owner Dennis Alter, who invested $80 million in constructing and furnishing this stunning mansion.

The nearly 37,000-square-foot home features 10 bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and six-and-half-baths. This vast space is divided into three wings, which surround an interior courtyard.

The main house is filled with breathtaking features, including 30-foot-high ceilings, a chef’s kitchen with two islands, and a 4,000-bottle wine room.

The media and play rooms offer the perfect space to entertain guests while sport enthusiasts will be immediately drawn to the indoor basketball court and both the indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

This magnificent home, including two historic farmhouses, is being marketed internationally and is listed through agent Janet Rubino.
