The incredibly-popular Fox Trot 5K sponsored by Sly Fox Brewery returns for its third year tomorrow in Pottstown with the largest road-running race in the area.
The race, which sold out out early this year with more than 1,000 runners, kicks off a day of family fun with live music and food trucks at the annual Sly Fox Taps, Tunes, and Trucks Festival.
The 5K race begins at 10 AM at Sly Fox Brewery on Circle of Progress Drive. Commuters should be aware that there will be short-term road closures from 10-11 AM. Part of the proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team-In-Training.
The race is the third in a series managed by Great American Brewery Runs, a Philadelphia-based event management company specializing in pairing world-class road-running events with craft breweries.
After the race, the fun continues with live music all afternoon from Aaron David & the Wise Owls, The Lawsuits, and Slowey & The Boats. Seven food trucks will be on hand to provide a variety of curbside culinary treats ranging from savory to sweet.
