What if one pitch could help take your idea to the next level?

Applications are now open for the seventh annual Spark Bowl, Delaware Valley University’s signature Shark Tank-style competition that gives entrepreneurs, startups, and nonprofits the opportunity to showcase their ideas, compete for prize money, and connect with some of Bucks County’s most influential business leaders.

Hosted by Delaware Valley University, the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and Startup Bucks, the 2026 Spark Bowl will take place on Nov. 19 in the auditorium of DelVal’s Life Sciences Building.

The competition has become a launchpad for emerging businesses and organizations looking to gain exposure, refine their strategies, and accelerate growth. The top three teams will be awarded prize money.

Whether you’re building a new company, developing an innovative product, or leading a mission-driven nonprofit, Spark Bowl offers the chance to present your vision before a panel of accomplished entrepreneurs and business professionals who understand what it takes to succeed.

Spark Bowl is a prime example of the many hands-on learning opportunities available to DelVal students.

Leading up to and throughout the competition, DelVal students serve as business consultants for the competing teams. Students assist businesses with pitch preparation, go-to-market plans, marketing strategy, and general advice.

The mutually beneficial partnership helps these startups prepare for the competition and provides students the opportunity to work hands-on with a real business.

Last year’s first-place, $12,000 winner was Bottimals, a bottle-lovey designed to help moms and families with infant bottle refusal. Second place ($6,000) went to Mojoz, and B.H. Botanicals earned third place ($3,000). The students assisting the teams also received monetary awards for their efforts.
