Campus Safety Officer, 2nd Shift — Blue Bell
This one’s for the person who takes community safety seriously and understands that a secure campus is the foundation for everything else.
Campus Safety Officers at MCCC are responsible for protecting all members of the college community and safeguarding the assets of the institution. The department runs 24/7, 365 days a year — so flexibility is essential. Officers patrol both indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions, respond to emergency calls, operate emergency equipment, and work to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere that supports academic excellence.
Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of directly applicable experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to earn and maintain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, and all candidates are subject to routine background investigations. Weekend and holiday assignments are included.
Dental Hygiene Instructor/Assistant Professor — Blue Bell
MCCC is seeking an experienced Dental Hygiene Professional ready to bring clinical expertise into the classroom and inspire the next generation of practitioners.
Faculty in this role teach assigned courses, facilitate student learning and mastery of course material, and contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, student advisement, and professional development.
A master’s degree in dental hygiene is required, along with a minimum of three years of full-time clinical practice, two years of collegiate teaching experience, and an active Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license. Certification in local anesthesia — or eligibility for it — is also required. A graduate of a CODA-accredited program is a must. Community college teaching experience and current ADHA membership are preferred.
MCCC is especially looking for someone with a demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations, incorporating technology into instruction, and supporting first-generation and under-resourced students.
Coordinator of Facilities, College-Wide — Blue Bell
Behind every well-functioning campus is someone making sure all the moving parts stay moving. That’s the Coordinator of Facilities.
This role supports Maintenance, Capital Projects, Custodial, and Grounds operations across both MCCC campuses, with responsibilities that include coordinating the optimal working environment for the entire facilities division, managing purchasing and payroll processes from start to finish, ensuring vendors receive purchase orders and jobs are completed, and dispatching employees efficiently for routine and emergency calls.
Candidates need a high school diploma or GED (associate’s degree in a related field preferred), at least two years of relevant experience — facilities experience a plus — and strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities and calendars simultaneously are essential.
