For Kathy Marini, a paraprofessional supporting the Boyertown Area School District, the reward of the job is found in the smallest, most meaningful moments.
Working in a life skills classroom, she plays a key role in helping students navigate their day, offering patience, encouragement, and consistency when it matters most.
Her experience reflects the heart of CCRES, where dedicated professionals provide individualized support that helps students feel seen, supported, and capable.
As Kathy shared, “When I see a smile on a child’s face because they were having a bad day and I make it better for them, I light up just as much as they do.”
Stories like hers highlight the everyday impact CCRES staff have in classrooms across the region. Through strong partnerships with districts and a focus on student-centered care, paraprofessionals help create positive learning environments where progress is measured not just in academics, but in confidence and connection.
It is this shared commitment that continues to make a difference for students, families, and school communities alike.
