Montgomery County Community College is looking to add two experienced finance professionals to its team — and both positions come with flexible work arrangements.

Payroll Administrator

If you’ve got a sharp eye for numbers and a knack for keeping things running behind the scenes, MCCC’s Payroll Administrator role might be your next move. This position handles payroll processing across all pay cycles, manages tax filings at the federal, state, and local levels, and performs complex account analysis — all within a collaborative campus environment.

You’ll need at least two years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and an associate’s degree at minimum (a bachelor’s in accounting, finance, or business is a plus). Higher ed experience is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.

Institutional Advancement Accounting Manager

This one’s for the seasoned accounting professional ready to take on something with real scope. As the primary financial liaison to MCCC’s Foundation Board and its Finance Committee, you’ll oversee day-to-day financial operations for the College’s Foundations — managing endowed and non-endowed funds, grants, financial statements, investment reports, and audit materials, all while ensuring GAAP and FASB compliance.

You’ll work closely with internal leadership and external partners and present financial information directly to board members and donors. It’s a role that calls for at least four years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and ideally some non-profit accounting background.

*Both positions are based in Blue Bell, and are open until filled (find out more and apply here).

**A credit history check is required before the first day.

Montgomery County Community College has been named one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for nine consecutive years — so if you’re looking for a workplace that invests in its people as much as its students, these roles are worth a look!
