$8.8 Million in Lottery Prizes Won by Two Montco Shoppers in Wynnewood and Pottstown

Montgomery County was a very lucky spot for two shoppers this week, who won more than $8 million combined in the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Montgomery County was a very lucky spot for two shoppers this week, who won more than $8 million combined in the Pennsylvania Lottery, according to a staff report from KYW Newsradio.

A Match 6 ticket sold at the Sunoco on Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood won the $5.8 million jackpot in Monday’s drawing, according to officials.

Meanwhile, a $3 million “The Hunt” scratch-off was sold at Pottstown Beverage Company on Hanover Street.

The Pennsylvania Lottery will award a $10,000 bonus to both stores for selling winning tickets.
