Montgomery County was a very lucky spot for two shoppers this week, who won more than $8 million combined in the Pennsylvania Lottery, according to a staff report from KYW Newsradio.
A Match 6 ticket sold at the Sunoco on Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood won the $5.8 million jackpot in Monday’s drawing, according to officials.
Meanwhile, a $3 million “The Hunt” scratch-off was sold at Pottstown Beverage Company on Hanover Street.
The Pennsylvania Lottery will award a $10,000 bonus to both stores for selling winning tickets.
