The Proper Brewing Company is celebrating its grand reopening following a two-and-a-half-month hiatus on Wednesday, April 1, at 4 PM, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.
The 10-year-old Quakertown business, formerly owned by husband and wife Brian and Kris Wilson, was recently sold to employee Melissa Szymkiewicz.
On Jan. 17, the restaurant and brewery closed for renovations and now features updated flooring, paint, and more.
The brewery also has a new liquor supplier, Holla Spirits, offering cocktails like a caipirinha, classic old-fashioned, cotton candy cosmo, espresso martini, and more. A selection of mules has also been added to the menu.
The Proper will be operating under new hours. Customers can stop by from noon to 7 PM on Sundays, 4 to 10 PM on Mondays through Thursdays, 4 to 10:30 PM on Fridays, and noon to 10:30 PM on Saturdays.
“… From the bottom of our hearts, gratitude pours out to each one of you who has stood by us through the years. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and are beyond thrilled to see The Proper continue under Melissa’s leadership,” wrote the Wilsons on The Proper’s social media.
