Assistant Director of Nursing
Freedom Village is recruiting for an Assistant Director of Nursing. The Assistant Director of Nursing is an RN who is responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in the Health Center. This position starts at $95,000.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Supervises direct nursing care in the Health Center.
- Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.
- Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records.
- Coordinates, conducts, and documents the MDS, resident care plans and conference in the absence of the MDS nurse.
- Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Assists with the orientation of nursing personnel.
- Participates in family/resident counseling.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered nurse with a current license in PA.
- Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or a B.S. Degree in nursing.
- Previous supervisory experience.

Caregiver–Private Duty
Innovative Home Services (IHS) at Freedom Village at Brandywine, a private-duty home care, is currently seeking EXTRORDINARY, compassionate, motivated, and energetic Companions/Caregivers/Homemakers to join its team.
As an IHS Companion, you will provide light housekeeping and companion services, one-on-one, all while working on a beautiful, upscale campus. Innovative Home Services provides individual private-duty supportive care that is personalized to the needs of residents in the Freedom Village community, 7 days a week.
Previous companion experience is preferred. Innovative Home Services offers the opportunity to have a flexible schedule depending on your availability, up to 20+ hours a week. Working with them as a companion, you will enjoy independence and flexibility while working with a great team at the West Brandywine location.
Job duties can include:
- Personal care assistance, such as showers, dressing, and grooming.
- Shopping and errands.
- Companionship.
- Medication reminders.
- Light housekeeping, such as laundry.
- Assistance with going to medical appointments.

Medication Technicians
Freedom Village at Brandywine is currentlyseeking certified medication technicians to work part-time, 2 PM-10:30 PM, starting at $18/hour on all shifts, with shift differential for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.
DHS certification is required.
Compassionate caregivers are sought with a strong desire to provide excellent care for assisted living and memory care residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ambulation and mobility.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Report any unusual incidents.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Works as a member of the team.
- Get along well with co-workers.
- Accept change in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
- Medication Technician experience.
- DHS certification.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
