Full-Time Teaching Faculty in Exercise Science and Wellness (Blue Bell and Pottstown)
Full-Time Teaching Faculty in Exercise Science and Wellness teach assigned courses in a manner that facilitates student learning and mastery of course material. Faculty also participate in course and curriculum development, program and course assessment, student advisement, college service, and professional development.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Master’s degree, or its equivalent, in nutrition and/or appropriate discipline from an accredited institution required; doctorate or terminal professional degree preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian is required.
- ACSM or NSCA certification preferred.
- American Heart Association Instructor Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates of all abilities; community college teaching experience preferred.
- Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of innovative instructional techniques and technologies, and the use of course management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of a variety of teaching activities to address diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated commitment to the incorporation of information literacy resources, technology, research, writing, and culturally diverse perspectives into the curriculum.
- Knowledge of competency-based education preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to continual assessment of the teaching-learning process.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations, such as under-resourced groups and first-generation students.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a comprehensive community college philosophy.

- Previous teaching experience in anatomy and physiology required.
- Demonstrated ability to teach general biology for non-majors preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates of all abilities; community college teaching experience preferred.
- Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of innovative instructional techniques and technologies, and the use of course management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of a variety of teaching activities to address diverse learning styles.

Full-Time Custodian – Third Shift (Pottstown Campus)
The Full-Time Custodian maintains a clean and sanitary environment at the College.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or one to two years’ experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions.
- Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.
- Functions as part of the emergency response team and is expected to work when the College is closed for emergencies.
- Must be able to lift trash containers weighing up to 30 pounds and deposit bags in larger trash containers on the trash cart.
- Must be able to perform bending, stretching, kneeling, and repetitive movements, such as those involved in sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, washing walls and chalkboards, cleaning/sanitizing restrooms, or shoveling snow.
- Must be able to perform repeated bending of knees and kneeling for extended periods of time while removing accumulated buildup from baseboards, edges of walls, and floors.
- Must be able to perform repeated climbing and balancing on ladders for extended periods of time while changing lights, high-dusting ball lights, window ledges, etc.
- Must be able to push and pull, lift and carry for extended periods of time while delivering and moving equipment and supplies.
