A vibrant celebration of culture and community is set to return as the Ukrainian Folk Festival takes over Horsham Township for its 2026 edition, writes The Philly Voice.
The festival will be held on Sunday, August 23, at the Ukrainian American Sport Center, Tryzub. Attendees can expect a full day of music, dance, and traditional cuisine. The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
The festival marks the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. It typically attracts around 3,000 attendees. A packed entertainment schedule includes an afternoon outdoor concert followed by an evening orchestra and dance music.
Performers range from Ukrainian dance ensembles across the U.S. to violinist Innessa Tymochko Dekajlo and the Vox Ethnika Orchestra. Ukrainian singer Shanis is also set to perform.
Beyond the stage, visitors can explore cultural exhibits, artisan vendors, and historical reenactments, while enjoying a wide array of traditional Ukrainian foods, baked goods, and barbecue.
Organizers say this year’s festival will carry added meaning, highlighting themes of independence and shared democratic values while honoring those with local ties who lost their lives defending Ukraine.
A portion of ticket sales will support humanitarian relief efforts.
