Conshohocken’s Proving Grounds Scores Major Brand Partnership with IKEA

IKEA Conshohocken will design a new family lounge at Proving Grounds, enhancing the youth sports experience in Montgomery County.

Families spending their weekends at Conshohocken’s Proving Grounds will soon have a new place to recharge between games.

BASE Sports Group announced a partnership between the youth sports complex and IKEA Conshohocken. The deal will bring the home furnishings retailer’s design expertise directly to one of Montco’s busiest athletic campuses.

As part of the collaboration, IKEA will design and furnish a dedicated lounge space for families, creating a comfortable, Scandinavian-inspired retreat amid tournament action.

The new lounge will feature functional, modern furniture and décor, along with interactive QR codes that allow visitors to explore product details, curated design ideas, and exclusive promotional offers. Branded signage and viewing-area installations will also appear throughout the campus.

Proving Grounds owner and president Paul Tornetta said the partnership aligns with the complex’s belief that youth sports are about connection as much as competition. BASE Sports Group CEO Mark Dvoroznak added that the collaboration shows how brands can meaningfully engage with local communities rather than simply advertise.

More than a sponsorship, organizers say the partnership is designed to enhance the overall family experience at a venue that draws thousands of athletes and spectators each year.
