Life Enrichment Coordinator
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of residents and conducive to their physical, mental, and social well-being.
Daily Responsibilities
- Support the Manager of Life Enrichment in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident programs and special events, following Life Enrichment initiatives (Health & Wellness, Extraordinary Impressions, and Heartfelt Connections Memory Care) on a monthly basis.
- Promote a positive, healthy community culture for residents and team members by upholding Hospitality Promises.
- Lead and facilitate daily programs aligned with 8 Dimensions of Health & Wellness (Physical, Emotional, Environmental, Vocational, Intellectual, Social, Spiritual, and Health Services).
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly activity calendars in accordance with Community standards.
- Develop, plan, and deliver diverse and engaging programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of the residents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Six (6) months of experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred.

Personal Care Home Administrator
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Personal Care Home Administrator to join its team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a wide and varied scope of activities and programming that meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical, and environmental needs of the residents.
The Personal Care Home Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of Personal Care.
Responsibilities of this position:
- Supervise the Memory Care Manager, Scheduler, Health and Wellness Director, and Sales.
- Oversee all Operations for all of Personal Care.
- Participate in the integration of and ongoing training of the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care program at the community level in tandem with Memory Care.
- Maintain medical charting and required documentation under the scope of state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
- Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services.
- Labor budgeting with guidance from the business office.
- Lead daily stand-up as the administrator.
Qualifications of this position:
- Hold a valid Personal Care Home Administrator’s license in PA (Required).
- Have knowledge in all areas of the local Health Department, OSHA, and other state regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services.
- Have good communication skills (oral and written).
- Have familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- LPN or RN (Required).

Dining Room Supervisor
Freedom Village is seeking a full-time Dining Room Supervisor to work every other weekend, 11 AM to 7:30 PM.
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of the dining area and waitress station, and ensuring that courteous and efficient services are delivered.
The position pays $18 to $20 an hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room and waitress stations, including table pedestals, chairs, rugs, drapes, flooring tiles, light fixtures, etc.
- Supervises the appearance of dining room tables, including table linens, napkins, silverware, table setup, centerpieces, etc.
- Supervises Dining Room personnel on all shifts, staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of Dining Room Staff.
- Selects, trains, evaluates, and recommends/carries out discipline for all Dining Room personnel.
- Assigns specific jobs and spot checks to ensure standards are met.
- Maintains pertinent and appropriate records, reports, files, schedules, and studies. Ensure that the posted work schedule meets all staffing/labor/budget guidelines.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures related to safety and health are followed, including but not limited to MSDS information, safe work practices, infection control, and universal precautions.
- Promotes teamwork within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
Experience Required
- A la carte dining experience preferred.
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience in “front of the house operations” within a restaurant, hotel, club, or similar institution.
- Prefer post-secondary education in hospitality management or dining room operations.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Social Skills in order to work effectively with residents, patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, subordinates, and other outside contacts.
- Love to stay busy and able to spend over 90 percent of your day moving around and interacting with staff, residents, and organizing and preparing for meals, events, and other busy activities throughout the day.
- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
