The Montco Cultural Center will host the biennial Alumni Art Exhibition in the Fine Arts Center Gallery on the Blue Bell Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, Wednesday, Jan. 14 through Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. An opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 5-7:00 PM. The exhibit and reception are free and open to all, and parking is free.

“The exhibition will feature 50 works in a variety of media, including installation art, fiber work, wood carving, and traditional media like painting and drawing,” said Patrick Rodgers, Manager of the Montco Cultural Center.

“The level of creative expertise and precision on display from our alumni and faculty makes this event a standout for those who attend,” he said. “For current and prospective students and community members, it also serves as a wonderful source of inspiration. We’re so fortunate to be able to reunite with our gifted alumni and celebrate the vibrant artistic community that this College has fostered over the decades.”

MCCC’s Fine Arts program provides the foundational studies and studio expertise equivalent to the first two years of study at a four-year institution, enabling students to hone their talents and produce a portfolio in the visual arts to obtain employment after earning an associate’s degree in Fine Arts. The program features courses in animation, ceramics, drawing, fashion design, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Past graduates have transferred to prestigious art schools, including Moore College of Art & Design, and the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, among others.

The Fine Arts Center Gallery is free and open to the community Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, and Saturday, noon to 5:00 PM. The Gallery will be closed during holidays. View the College Calendar for details. To arrange a guided group tour during or outside these hours, or for more information about the Alumni Art Exhibition, contact Rodgers at [email protected].
