For many people, financial planning feels overwhelming. Albania Espinal has built her career around making it approachable, purposeful, and empowering. As the founder and wealth advisor behind Radnor’s Alegre Wealth, Albania has built a practice centered on helping clients approach their finances with confidence and clarity, rather than stress or uncertainty.
Albania’s philosophy is shaped by her personal journey. Raised in a hardworking immigrant family after moving from the Dominican Republic to the U.S., she saw firsthand how dedication and effort didn’t always translate into long-term financial security without guidance and education. That early perspective now informs how she works with clients. Many who come to see her are high-earning professionals with complex income structures but limited time or desire to manage every financial detail themselves.
“Financial planning is something anyone can do, but we choose what we take on ourselves, Albania says. “A lot of my clients are really good in their field, whether it’s the tech industry or pharmaceuticals, but they don’t have the time or interest in financial planning. They come to me because they’d rather spend their energy where they’re exceptional, knowing their finances are being handled thoughtfully and strategically.
With more than a decade of industry experience, Albania brings deep institutional knowledge to her independent practice. She began her career at Vanguard, where she developed a strong foundation in low-cost, long-term investing. Later, she continued her work with clients at Fidelity Investments. Across those roles, she gained extensive experience advising individuals with stock-based compensation, business income, and other layered financial considerations.
Today, at Alegre Wealth, Albania focuses on simplifying complex financial concepts and helping clients build clear, tax-efficient roadmaps aligned with their goals. Education plays a central role in her process—ensuring clients not only have a plan, but understand it.
That’s how Alegre Wealth got its name. “The word ‘alegre’ means joy,” Albania explained. “I want clients to focus on what brings them joy and alleviate the stress associated with finances.”
For clients seeking thoughtful guidance without unnecessary complexity, her approach offers both expertise and reassurance.
