Assistant Director of Procurement Services
The Assistant Director of Procurement Services is responsible for overseeing the College’s purchasing, contract compliance, business services, and auxiliary services, including childcare, the fitness center, cafés, and vending operations. This role ensures efficient operations, cost-effective procurement, and adherence to applicable regulations and institutional policies.
Additionally, this role manages the College’s contract portfolio — overseeing the negotiation, execution, and monitoring of agreements to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and institutional requirements. The Assistant Director collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services. Strong leadership, attention to
detail, and expertise in procurement, contract management, and operational oversight are essential for success in this position

**This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. Location will mainly be at the Blue Bell campus.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, purchasing, contract management, business services, or oversight of third-party auxiliary services, preferably within higher education or a similar public or nonprofit organization.
- Demonstrated experience with competitive bidding, RFP development, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of public procurement practices and regulatory environments, including compliance with federal, state, and local procurement laws.
- Experience in monitoring vendor performance and ensuring compliance with contract terms and service standards.
- Experience using enterprise procurement or financial systems (e.g., Ellucian Colleague or similar ERP software) is preferred.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience, including staff training and development, is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal departments, external vendors, and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of procurement and contract compliance processes, particularly in a public or nonprofit institutional setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

Director of Computer and Information Sciences Programs
The Director of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) is responsible for the management and innovative leadership of CIS credit programs (degree and certificate) and integration with related non-credit programming.
These programs include Cloud Computing, Computer Networking and Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Interactive Media – Game Design, Software Engineering, and Web Development and Design. In collaboration with the Director of Workforce Development for IT, the Director will ensure alignment of credit and non-credit programs with market and industry needs.
The Director will supervise full-time and part-time CIS faculty. Working closely with students, faculty, staff, administration, and the CIS Advisory Board, the Director will ensure market relevance of all CIS programs and assist in the development of new programs and the modification of current programs.
In addition to ensuring the smooth operation of all CIS programs, the Director will develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including local businesses, colleges and universities, and career and technical high schools.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, STEM Education, or related field.
- At least three years of teaching experience. Experience teaching undergraduate STEM courses preferred.
- At least five years of experience in computer science, information technology, STEM, or educational administration/leadership/management.
- Excellent management, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
- Industry-recognized certification(s).
- Demonstrated administrative experience, including program planning, personnel management, and fiscal management.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations, such as under-resourced groups and first-generation students.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a comprehensive community college philosophy.
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of software as related to position requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team-oriented setting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with recruiting, training, and/or onboarding of faculty members
- Demonstrated commitment to life-long learning and continuous professional development to keep abreast of this quickly changing field
