A few businesses, including CAVA and Lovesac, recently announced plans to open locations in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center on Eagle Road, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
CAVA is a fast casual chain that’s known for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. This will be the restaurant’s first Bucks County location, and it will have 17 seats outside and 38 seats indoors.
Some of the most popular menu items include the avocado and spicy lamb bowl, Greek salad, grain bowl, steak and harissa bowl, pita sandwiches, and hummus.
“It’s not only about the food, though,” their website states. “CAVA’s inspiration is rooted in the entire Mediterranean meal experience, notably that feeling-so-cared-for genuine expression of hospitality and warmth. Which is why, at CAVA, generosity is a cornerstone.”
The Lovesac Company is set to open this fall in the former site of the Head Over Heels boutique. The company is known for selling high-quality, unique furniture.
This new showroom will give customers the chance to check out their modular couch platform, Sactionals, and their customizable add-ons.
“We are excited to bring the cloud-like experience that only Lovesac can provide to Newtown. The local community can look forward to our ‘Designed for Life’ products that are created to adapt to consumers’ evolving needs, reduce the ecological footprint by minimizing waste in landfills, and provide long-term utility and value,” said Shawn Nelson, CEO & Founder of the Connecticut-based company.
