Coordinator of Admissions and Recruitment
The Coordinator of Admissions and Recruitment will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing strategies and activities that optimize enrollments by attracting new students to the College. This is accomplished by providing essential information about the College as it relates to admissions and enrollment; making vital information available to the community through visits and presentations; working collaboratively with college
faculty, staff, and current students to attract new students; and fostering awareness, promotion, and support of the College’s mission and academic program offerings.
*This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site
locations. The primary office location is the Blue Bell campus. Evenings and weekends are required, and as needed, especially during peak times of the year.
** This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Preferred: Minimum of three to five years of experience and proven success in a consultative sales position in a higher education setting preferred.
- Ability to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
- Evidence of strong presentation, written, verbal skills, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of the Community College missions/philosophy, practice, and population.
- Demonstrated ability to work with administrative computer hardware and software.
- Demonstrated success in making higher educational opportunities accessible to underrepresented and non-traditional students.
- Demonstrated success in relationship building and community outreach.
- Demonstrated success in event management, planning, and execution.
- Demonstrated experience working with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tools to support student success and retention.
