Morgan Properties plans to construct two more office buildings near its new Conshohocken headquarters, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The Conshohocken Zoning Hearing Board approved zoning variances for the company earlier this week to build the two additions behind the existing Millennium office complex, where Morgan Properties relocated last year. The buildings would be situated along the Schuylkill River and total a combined 304,000 gross square feet.
Morgan Properties acquired the Millennium Office Complex, which consists of three buildings and 13.5 acres of land, for $52 million in 2019. The company opened its headquarters at the site in 2024, when it hinted at some potential expansion at the site.
“The Millennium Complex is a prime example of how a strategic location with great regional access and community-focused amenities can create a sustainable ecosystem for businesses and their employees,” said Co-President Jason Morgan at the time. “We’re thrilled for the future expansion possibilities this important move opens up for us.”
The larger of the two proposed buildings is planned to be six stories tall, with a four-story parking garage providing 960 spaces, while the second building would rise three floors and include a two-story garage with 236 spaces.
