Part-Time Academic Support Clerk

This position provides assistance to students, staff, and other users of the library and academic support services.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• Six months of directly applicable experience preferred.
• Communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of office equipment.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.

Full-Time Custodian – 2nd Shift

The Full-Time Custodian maintains a clean and sanitary environment at the College.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or one to two years’ experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be physically capable of performing all duties in the job description.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.
• Functions as part of the emergency response team and is expected to work when the College is
  closed, for emergencies.
• Must be able to lift trash containers weighing up to 30 pounds and deposit bags in a larger trash container on the trash cart.
• Must be able to perform bending, stretching, kneeling, repetitive movements such as those involved in sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, washing walls and chalkboards, cleaning/sanitizing restrooms, or shoveling snow.
• Must be able to perform repeated bending of knees and kneeling for extended periods while removing accumulated buildup from baseboards and edges of walls and floors.
• Must be able to perform repeated climbing and balancing on ladders for extended periods while changing lights, high-dusting ball lights, window ledges, etc.
• Must be able to push and pull, and lift and carry for extended periods while delivering and
  moving equipment and supplies.
