Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) invites applications for the open positions of Marketing Manager for Strategic Programming; Director of Nursing; and Program Coordinator of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging.

Marketing Manager for Strategic Programming

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications, the Marketing Manager for Strategic Programming organizes assigned marketing efforts for select College units and initiatives, including but not limited to the Montgomery County Community College (PA) Legacy Fund, Montco Cultural Center, the Hospitality Institute, and the Mix Room at Montco.

This role supports the execution of tactics across key functional areas, defining scope, budget,
project plan, and deliverables for all assigned units. Responsibilities include project management,
communications, content development, client relations, email marketing, direct mail, annual appeals,
editing/proofing, and the management of print/mail vendors.

This position will be based at the Blue Bell Campus, with the marketing manager also working at the
Pottstown Campus as needed.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three to five years of related experience is required.
  • Background in higher education, fundraising, or nonprofit environments is preferred.
  • Team player with professional demeanor and proven ability to delegate when needed.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in design programs (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, with a sense for what should be prioritized.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining privacy and integrity.
  • Experience with fundraising/development marketing.
  • CMS and CRM experience is a plus.

Director of Nursing

Reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences, the Director of Nursing is responsible for the leadership, management, supervision, and evaluation of the Nursing Program, its instructional curriculum, and services.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • Master’s degree in nursing required, doctorate preferred.
  • Current registration as a Professional Nurse in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience in nursing practice, at least three years of teaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably in a community college setting.
  • Nursing education administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with nursing specialized accreditation and development of accreditation documents.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to comprehensive community college philosophy.
  • Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and standards, including, but not limited to, the use of alternative educational delivery systems, instructional techniques, and distance learning modalities.
  • Commitment to the incorporation of information literacy, technology, writing, and diversity in the curriculum.

Program Coordinator of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging

Reporting to the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging (EDB), the Program Coordinator of EDB supports and runs all EDB programming initiatives, including but not limited to event management, training programs, and other special institutional and community-based projects as they relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This is a college-wide position, working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, administrators, and the communities we serve, with some night and weekend hours required.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years directly related work experience in student life, cultural affairs, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing effective programming, training/professional development opportunities for students and/or employees.
  • Experience working in higher education, community college experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Colleague, Salesforce, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to embody the mission and values of the College.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-energy, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in designing and providing impactful presentations in various formats.
  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exemplary customer service skills and mindset.
