Chums is a new cat-themed dessert shop in downtown Ardmore that specializes in delicious cold-strained yogurt and smoothie bowls, reports Drew Anderson for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Chums, features a cat-shaped logo and 3D printed chairs resembling cat paws, emphasizes friendship, and offers a welcoming space to enjoy some delicious treats with friends.
The dessert shop crafts its yogurt bowls with a cold-strain process that removes excess whey, creating a lower level of lactose with a higher concentration of protein for a rich, creamy, and nourishing taste in every bite.
“It is also topped with fruits and granola, each bowl is multilayered, full of nutrition, and is a really good treat,” said Chums owner.
In addition, the shop also has plenty of vegan options in its smoothie bowls, including banana, coconut, and pitaya flavors. For children, it serves mouthwatering crepes and waffles, along with fruit on sticks.
The owner decided to make the shop cat-themed after noticing the numerous dog-themed stores in the neighborhood but only a few that were dedicated to cats.
Now, the owner, who has a cat herself, enjoys connecting with fellow cat lovers who visit her shop.
