Nursing Simulation Lab Manager
The Nursing Simulation Lab Manager assists the Director of Nursing in the leadership and management of the Nursing Simulation Skills Suite (NSSS). The Nursing Simulation Lab Manager has primary responsibilities in the areas of the nursing admissions processes, clinical agency clearances, and the Nursing Simulation and Skills Suite.
*This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances to be submitted to Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, master’s preferred.
- Requires a minimum of two years of related experience in a healthcare office or hospital administration. This experience should include inventory management, equipment maintenance scheduling, and project management.
- Current registration as a Professional Nurse in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Experience in nursing practice required.
- Experience with nursing specialized accreditation and development of accreditation documents preferred.
- Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and standards, including, but not limited to, the use of alternative delivery systems, instructional techniques, and distance learning modalities.
- Commitment to the incorporation of information literacy, technology, writing, and diversity in the curriculum.

Operations and Events Manager, Hospitality Institute
The MCCC Hospitality Institute Manager of Operations and Events is responsible for procurement responsibilities as well as facility, events, retail, and catering management for the Hospitality Institute (HI) and its facility, which houses degree and non-degree culinary programs along with bakery operations, restaurant/bistro, and special events.
This position is responsible for managing all purchasing for the HI operations with an understanding of the production timing for all credit and non-credit programs and events, and facility needs. This position also oversees the management of special events and catering requests through the HI, including developing and managing a comprehensive and accurate calendar, ordering system, and process for all events and catering operations from request, through planning, to execution.
The Operations Manager will work together with the HI instructors to maintain the calendar, operation, and sanitary standards of this unique educational setting. Additionally, they are responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the food production areas and related equipment.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Culinary, Business, or related field.
- At least five years of work experience in the culinary/hospitality industry.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and physically perform the requirements of the job.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word) are required, with the ability to quickly learn
- new programs.
- Able to work well with others and participate as part of a team.
- Able to multitask in a professional, respectful manner with keen attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license required for vendor visits, travel to and from catering events, and demonstrations.
- Master’s degree in Hospitality Administration or Culinary Administration.
- Experience managing a retail culinary establishment.
- Experience in culinary education.
- Experience managing a POS system (Square, Marketplace, etc.) and purchasing systems.

Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs and Provost
The Executive Assistant for Academic and Student Affairs provides high-level administrative assistance such as coordinating meetings, drafting communications, developing agendas, synthesizing information and data to prepare reports, and preparing presentations.
This position manages procurement for the Provost, coordinates budget development, produces budget status reports throughout the fiscal cycle, and prepares all ASA credit cards for approval. Additionally, this position strategically organizes and manages workflow and scheduling for the Provost, including gathering information and compiling reports, such as project completion and end-of-year work reports. This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma required. Experience will be considered in lieu of an associate’s degree.
- A minimum of three years of directly related work experience is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and with a variety of technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, Ellucian Colleague, internet research, and other job-related software/systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and calendar management.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to act strategically and independently on behalf of an executive-level employee.
- Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, administrators, support staff, and external stakeholders in accomplishing responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response turnaround.
- Understand College policies (e.g., procurement, contractual, faculty union, etc.) to ensure compliance as related to any work of the position.
