From Bryn Mawr to Conshohocken, these Montgomery County couples are blending busy careers, family life, and a whole lot of teamwork, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
Emily and Zach Berman, Bryn Mawr
She runs a home organization business. He covers the Eagles for PHLY Sports. Together, Emily and Zach balance two kids, nonstop schedules, and mutual respect. “She’s in charge,” Zach jokes. While their personalities differ—she’s high-energy, he’s porch-reading calm—they agree that giving each other space to pursue passions keeps their marriage strong.
Kurt Benkurt and Annalise Long, Conshohocken
Owners of Daniel’s Restaurant + Bar, Kurt and Annalise built their business on shared values and hospitality experience. Early on, they kept their relationship private at work. No one knew until they got engaged. Their success stems from hard work, check-ins, and remembering to appreciate each other—especially during hectic service hours.
Josh and Bree Truby, Bryn Mawr
College sweethearts turned suburban superheroes, Bree and Josh juggle demanding careers, community roles, and parenting. She plans corporate events and coaches youth sports; he’s earning his second master’s while volunteering for the fire company. Their shared calendar is key, but so is communication—and a little humor, which they share on Instagram at @breeandabottleofjosh.
