Bob’s Discount Furniture Debuts in Montgomeryville with Donations to Charity

Bob’s Discount Furniture opened in Montgomeryville with a ribbon cutting on Friday, making it the retailer’s 195th location nationwide.

Bob’s Discount Furniture opened its newest showroom in Montgomeryville with a ribbon cutting on Friday, writes Tony Di Domizio for North Penn Now.

The new 20,087-square-foot location is the retailer’s 195th store nationwide.

“Bob’s Discount Furniture is excited to bring our everyday low price offering in our beautiful new store to the residents of Montgomeryville and the surrounding areas,” said Christopher Day, senior vice president of Real Estate at Bob’s Discount Furniture.

The store is located at Water Tower Square Shopping Center, in the space that formerly housed Office Depot.

“We selected this location for many reasons including its visibility, convenient access and egress, and its proximity to other national retailers,” said Day.

In addition to offering affordable, stylish, and durable furniture, the new showroom is making a meaningful impact on the community.

During the opening ceremony, Bob’s presented two $2,500 charity checks through its Random Acts of Kindness Program – one to Marvin’s Home, a charitable organization, and the other to York Avenue Elementary School. The donations reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the community through its foundation and outreach efforts.
