Faculty Diversity Fellowship Program- Computer Science (2025-2026 Academic Year)
The Faculty Diversity Fellowship Program, in support of the College’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, promotes and advances the careers of exceptional scholars who have demonstrated this commitment to diversity and inclusion. The one-year program provides each fellow with opportunities for teaching, student engagement, peer mentoring, and professional
development as educators and scholars.
Since its inception in 2007, the College has been enriched by the program through innovative curricula, scholarship, student connections, and advances in cultural competencies and awareness. The underpinnings of divergent academic interests, cultural backgrounds, and professional experiences, together with the presence of diverse faculty role models, contribute greatly to the success of all students.
While the Selection Committee will consider applicants from any discipline taught at the College, preference this year will be given to candidates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- A master’s degree, or its equivalent, in an appropriate discipline from an accredited institution is required.
- A doctorate or terminal professional degree is preferred.
- Experience working in a related field.
- Experience in and/or industry-recognized certification in coding and object-oriented programming (Java, Python, etc.).
- Experience in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data informatics, or other emerging fields.

Program Coordinator of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging
Reporting to the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging (EDB), the Program Coordinator of EDB supports and runs all EDB programming initiatives, including but not limited to event management, training programs, and other special institutional and community-based projects as they relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is a college-wide position, working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, administrators, and the communities we serve, with some night and weekend hours required.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two years directly related work experience in student life, cultural affairs, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing effective programming, and training/professional development opportunities for students and/or employees.
- Experience working in higher education, community college experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Colleague, Salesforce, and social media platforms.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Effective communicator who is detail-oriented and able to prioritize.
- Ability to embody the mission and values of the College.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-energy, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in designing and providing impactful presentations in various formats.

Dental Hygiene Instructor/Assistant Professor
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Dental Hygiene Instructor/Professor position. The faculty teach assigned courses in a manner that facilitates student learning and mastery of course material. Faculty also participate in course and curriculum development, program, and course assessment, student advisement, college service, and professional development.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- A master’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution is required. Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and are matriculated in a Dental Hygiene Master’s program will also be considered.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience at a collegiate level. Community College teaching experience preferred.
- Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of innovative instructional techniques and technologies and the use of course management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use of a variety of teaching activities to address diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated commitment to the incorporation of information literacy resources, technology, research, writing, and culturally diverse perspectives into the curriculum.
- Knowledge of competency-based education is preferred.
- Commonwealth of PA Dental Hygiene license (active status) or eligibility.
- Certification in local anesthesia or eligibility.
- Minimum of three years of full-time experience in dental hygiene clinical practice.
- Current membership in the American Dental Hygienist’s Association.
- Graduate of a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
