Lincoln Financial in Radnor has jumped on board as a partner to help with the Cobbs Creek Golf Course Redevelopment.

Lincoln Financial in Radnor has come on board as a partner in the $150 million renovation of the historic Cobbs Creek Golf Course in West Philadelphia and Upper Darby, writes John George for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The partnership will focus on the development of the property infrastructure, and programs at the Cobbs Creek Golf and Education Campus.

Chris Neczypor, CFO of Lincoln Financial, will join the Cobbs Creek Foundation’s executive committee board of advisors.

As a founding partner, Lincoln Financial will get its name on the central hub building being built at the West Philadelphia golf center.

It will help the Foundation and the Tiger Woods TGR Foundation  co-develop financial literacy programs for kids, families and adults.

Woods has been involved in the Cobbs Creek project through his TGR Foundation and TGR Design company.

The TGR Foundation is creating the TGR Learning Lab on the campus and TGR Design is creating a new short course.

Joining with Lincoln Financial will create “measurable personal and economic outcomes” benefitting families for generations, according to Cobbs Creek Foundation President Jeff Shanahan.
