Nothing Stops Former West Chester Resident from Attending Eagles Games, Not Even Death

Former West Chester resident Craig Taulman has attended every Philadelphia Eagles game this season despite passing away last year.

Former West Chester resident Craig Taulman has let nothing stop him from being a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan, including death, writes Isaac Avilucea for Axios.

45-year-old Taulman watched the game every Sunday and had a basement bejeweled with team gear.

“He was watching the Eagles until the week he died,” said his wife, Karen.

Sadly, he passed away in September 2024 after fighting late-stage lung cancer. Despite this, he has attended every Eagles game this season. He was even there for their NFC win.

How?

Taulman’s brother is close friends with the Philly Sports Guy, aka Jamie Pagliei. Pagliei is an ultimate fan as well who takes his passion to the next level with face paint and crazy hair do’s. His brother had jokingly asked Pagliei at Taulman’s celebration of life if he would bring the urn to the next home game.

Pagliei has been bringing Taulman’s tiny Eagles-themed urn ever since. He also plans to take him to the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans.

“It’s like carrying my brother around,” said Pagliei, who’s own brother passed away in 2022.
