The weekend is a great time to catch a good brunch with friends, and here in Montgomery County, there are two locations that are destined to become a favorite brunch spot, writes Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
FoodChaser’s Kitchen in Elkins Park is a brunch hotspot with a soul food twist.
The restaurant at 7852 Montgomery Ave. serves French toast with fried chicken or shrimp, buttermilk biscuits and breakfast sandwiches.
You’ll also find lunch options catered to Eagles fans. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts created his own signature cheesesteak here with fried onions, cooper sharp cheddar cheese and mayo.
Lola’s Garden in Ardmore services brunch in Suburban Square every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Fans of Morgan’s Pier and Harper’s Garden will love this sister store with great indoor and outdoor seating.
Specialties include a buttermilk biscuit board with house-made jam, and eggs Benedict served with grilled capicola.
Lola’s Garden is located at 51 St. George’s Road.
