Aqua Pennsylvania Employees Deliver Comfort and Support to Cancer Patients

Aqua Pennsylvania President Marc Lucca (far right) joined the volunteer event, alongside members of the Black Employee Resource Group, who support Bringing Hope Home through adopt-a-family drives.

For Aqua Pennsylvania’s last volunteer event of 2024, they teamed up with local nonprofit, Bringing Hope Home, to pack 50 “Bags of Hope” for individuals undergoing cancer treatments.

Each bag was filled with comfort items, and once they were all packed, the volunteers had the opportunity to deliver the bags to patients at Bryn Mawr Hospital’s Center for Radiation and Oncology, in hopes of bringing a little extra comfort during a challenging time.

Along with the volunteer event, Aqua donated $3.8k to Bringing Hope Home to support its mission of bringing “unexpected amazingness” to families facing a cancer diagnosis.

Aqua’s Ongoing Community Efforts

Aqua is proud to provide water and wastewater services to more than three million people across eight states; however, its services don’t end there. Aqua’s legacy lies in its commitment to serving the communities in which it lives, works, and plays. The company’s employees, whether through Aqua’s paid volunteer program or on their own time, are dedicated to giving back. Their dedication to effecting positive change has resulted in countless dollars raised and hours worked for community programs. The company also donates considerably to the communities it serves through its Essential Foundation.
