Ambler’s RoundRight Software Solutions Maximizes Safety at Psychiatric Hospitals
Ambler-based RoundRight Software Solutions, launched by George Jiruska in 2022, helps maximize patient safety at psychiatric hospitals, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The software is designed to improve how staff at hospitals conduct rounds to check on patient safety. It also makes it easier for hospital administrators to make sure that patient checks are being properly carried out.
The Montgomery County company recently added the Kirkbride Center in West Philadelphia as its second local client. Its first was Malvern Health, a provider of both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.
Overall, the company is working with 13 behavioral healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania, North Dakota, and Arkansas, with plans to expand into New Jersey during the first quarter of 2025.
Jiruska is projecting next year’s revenue of between $600,000 and $700,000, significantly more than the $200,000 the company expects for this year.
Jiruska is a graduate of Lehigh University. He got the idea for RoundRight after he spent four years working in hospital management at behavioral health care centers.
“I saw the consequences of what happens when you don’t take patient safety and patient monitoring seriously,” he said. “The stakes couldn’t be higher.”
