Evening with Manor Honors NBC10’s Tracy Davidson
Manor College in Jenkintown honored Tracy Davidson as the 23rd Annual Evening with Manor College honoree.
Davidson, an Anchor and Investigative Reporter for NBC10 Philadelphia, leads an incredible life off-camera with a mission to serve others. Her focus is empowering women and girls, both professionally and personally.
With her colleague, she developed Lifting Your V.O.I.C.E., a one-day event empowering women through discussions to help them rediscover their passion, quiet negative voices inside, set a pathway to intention, and help connect to other positive women.
“Tracy’s signature on her email isn’t merely who she is, what she does, who she works for,” Dr. Jonathan Peri, Manor College President, said. “She says, ‘Here to serve,’ and that is particularly distinctive, but I suspect it is extraordinarily distinctive in her fast-paced work world.”
Davidson is among several NBC employees who contributed to the evening. Sheila Watko, a Reporter for NBC10, served as the evening’s emcee. Aury Krebs, an Actress on NBC’s new show Brilliant Minds, served as a bartender with her father, Manor College Director of Institutional Development John Krebs. Mike Tirico, Sunday Night Football Broadcaster, delivered a tribute to his former Syracuse co-anchor.
The Evening with Manor raises money for Manor College’s mission: a personalized education that generates a commitment to a peaceful world that inspires confidence in the present and hope for the future. The event set both fundraising and attendance records, with more than $100,000 raised and with more than 150 guests in attendance.
