Tax Manager, CPA or EA

This individual will facilitate and manage the accurate and timely preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual federal, state, and local tax returns for privately held and family-owned business clients. He/she will develop tax strategies to help clients maintain compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations; conduct tax research for compliance issues and planning; and monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate the effects of these developments to the Tax Services team.

The ideal candidate will possess a CPA license or EA designation (master’s in Taxation is a plus) and a minimum of seven years of public accounting tax experience. He/she will have extensive individual, corporate, and partnership tax knowledge and experience, as well as significant experience working in a paperless environment. The person will also have outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills.

Tax Senior, CPA or EA

This individual will work closely with managers and partners to ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of corporate, partnership, and individual federal, state, and local tax returns for privately held and family-owned business clients, including partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, trusts, and estates, multi-state returns, estimates, and extensions. He/she will prepare amended returns as applicable and complete tax planning and research as applicable. The person will also provide support to staff and partners as needed, including communicating technical tax issues to clients and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a CPA license or EA designation, and three to five years of current public accounting/tax experience. He she will have the ability to train, supervise, and manage staff, including reviewing returns and related workpapers, providing review comments, and following up on comment resolution.

Senior Accountant, CPA

This individual will work on a variety of clients spanning multiple industries; develop technical skills in a variety of disciplines, including accounting, tax, and advisory services; participate in the client business and tax planning process; and collaborate with, train, and supervise staff. He/she will be provided with ongoing continuing education aimed at sharpening technical skills, as well as training designed to spur professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a CPA license and at least five years of current public accounting experience. He/she will have experience with tax and accounting software and Adobe. The person will also demonstrate initiative, creativity, and imagination in his/her approach to work, as well as exhibit time management and organizational skills.

Staff Accountant (Experienced and Entry Level)

These positions will play a role in client success by providing accounting, audit, and tax services for privately-held companies, not-for-profits, and local governments. He/she will assist in audits of employee benefit plans and ESOPs and contribute to the growth and success of the firm by providing exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA license (or commitment to taking the exam). He/she will love learning and possess outstanding attention to detail.
