Airport restaurants, specifically, Philadelphia International Airport, offer some of the best places to eat, as new tenants come in.

If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience to impress your out-of-town guests, try the airport.

Some of the best places to eat are now at Philadelphia International Airport, especially with the addition of two new local vendors, writes Kiki Aranit for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Oyster House and Federal Donuts & Chicken are coming to the airport in spring 2025, joining Bud & Marilyn’s, Sabrina’s, La Colombe, Elixr Coffee, and Jim’s South St. Famous Cheesesteaks.

Federal Donuts and Oyster House are coming in under the airport’s “Founded in Philly” umbrella.

Federal Donuts will replace PHL Flavors.

Oyster House will be located at the former Legal Sea Foods, which closed in 2020, and will also take over a small flower shop next door.

In the last few years, MarketPlace PHL has built up an impressive collection of local cuisine.

MarketPlace PHL is the landlord and developer for the airport. It’s goal has been to give travelers the same experience at the airport they would find in the city.

It’s campaign is in anticipation of the millions of visitors coming to Philadelphia in 2026 for the Semiquincentennial, the FIFA World Cup, the MLB All-Star Game, NCAA March Madness, and the PGA Championship.
