Melting Pot Finalizes Remodel with Massive Budget in King of Prussia
Fondue restaurant chain Melting Pot has completed a $1.475 million renovation and expansion of its King of Prussia location with the aim of improving the customer experience, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The restaurant, which is located across from King of Prussia Mall, finalized a three-year remodel. The project expanded the seating, added new furnishings, and updated the bar.
The Melting Pot is known for its popular cheese and chocolate fondues. It offers a wide range of entrees, including meats and seafood, which are cooked by guests on burners at their tables. The eatery also serves salads and offers a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails.
The Melting Pot first opened in King of Prussia in 2006. It moved to its current, larger home in 2021. This update added 80 to its existing 172 seats, for a total of 252. The restaurant has also added more tabletop burners to tables for more than two guests. Now, each table has at least two.
The upgrades will help cater to diners who are looking for “an incredible, consistent perfect night out,” said Melting Pot CEO Bob Johnston.
