Lluna, one of the few Philadelphia-based companies to go through the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, was recently acquired by the local startup The Best Answer, writes Ryan Mulligan for the PHL Inno.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lluna’s CEO and co-founders will exit the company following the completion of the sale.

The Best Answer is a spin-off of local venture studio, Fall Forward. Both companies have small headcounts and mainly focus on human resources.

Lluna developed a digital human resources platform that gives employees an option to create personalized profiles that help them forge connections with teammates while they are being employed remotely or working in a hybrid setting.

Meanwhile, according to its co-founder and newly minted CEO Ben Bilbrough, The Best Answer refers to itself as the “QuickBooks of culture.” It gives employees a tool to assess engagement, outline engagement goals, and manage employee performance.

Bilbrough said that the addition of Lluna provides The Best Answer with an “interesting opportunity to be a good multiplier as part of a larger platform.”
