Independence Blue Cross has introduced its 2025 Medicare Advantage plans, which give members quality healthcare coverage they can depend on and trust at a price they can afford.

IBX’s 2025 Medicare Advantage plans include comprehensive health benefits, a seamless member experience, and access to the largest network of doctors and hospitals in the region. This year, IBX is also debuting two new plans:

  • Keystone 65 Essential Rx HMO-POS with $3,000 annual dental allowance, as well as a grocery and transportation benefit.
  • Personal Choice 65 Plus PPO with zero-dollar copays for in-network primary care and specialist visits, as well as $1,500 annual dental allowance.

“As the Medicare landscape continues to grow and change, we remain steadfast in our commitment to serve seniors who are looking for healthcare coverage they can trust,” said Kortney Cruz, IBX’s Senior Vice President of Government Markets. “With our 85 years of experience and deep understanding of the region, we are in the best position to help seniors and their caregivers navigate the complexities and find the best Medicare Advantage plans for their needs.”

IBX is there to help Medicare beneficiaries, both new and existing, choose their plans during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct. 15 to Dec. 7). This year, IBX is offering a full suite of Personal Choice 65 PPO plans and Keystone 65 HMO plans. Here are some highlights of this year’s plans:

  • Access to age-friendly programs that can play a key role in members’ maintaining independence and good health is a cornerstone of all Independence Blue Cross Medicare plans. This includes comprehensive caregiver support through an expanded partnership with Carallel. The relationship will allow Carallel to provide high-touch support and high-tech tools purposefully designed with caregivers’ needs in mind. Also, certain members with dementia and other brain health conditions will also have access to Isaac Health, a company that offers virtual and in-home clinical services for these types of diseases.
  • Part B giveback, which helps reduce the amount members pay each month for their Medicare Part B premium, available on some plans, including Keystone 65 Liberty HMO and Personal Choice 65 Saver PPO, among others.
  • Free fitness membership with access to all YMCAs in the area.
  • Quarterly allowances for over-the-counter items and a flexible benefit allowance for dental, vision, and hearing services and supplies (offered on some plans), all through the IBX Care Card.

Prospective members can talk to a licensed sales agent over the phone or schedule a home visit to help them choose and enroll in an Independence Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plan by calling 1-877-393-6733 seven days a week, from 8 AM-8 PM.

Current members can sign up at Independence Blue Cross for an in-person member event or watch an on-demand virtual webinar to explore their 2025 plan benefits.
