C&N has announced the winners of its annual calendar photo contest, a beloved tradition that showcases the region’s beauty through the lenses of local amateur and professional photographers.

Phil Burkhouse, an amateur photographer from Emporium, Pa., is the grand prize winner. His photograph, a stunning image of a bull elk captured in Cameron County in July, captivated a panel of C&N judges.

Ultimately, C&N teammates selected it as the grand prize winner through a company-wide vote. Burkhouse’s photo takes center stage on the cover of the highly anticipated 2025 C&N Wall Calendar.

This year’s contest drew an overwhelming number of submissions, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for this popular event. C&N teammates meticulously reviewed the entries, finally selecting 12 exceptional photographs that capture the unique beauty throughout C&N’s footprint. These captivating images are featured throughout the 2025 C&N Wall Calendar.

“We are incredibly grateful for the participation and talent displayed in this year’s contest,” said Charity Frantz, C&N’s Director of Marketing. “The C&N calendar photo contest provides a wonderful platform for both amateur and professional photographers to share their passion and connect with our community. We are honored to celebrate these talented artists and showcase their work.”
