Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) is seeking applications for the following positions: Part-Time Academic Support Clerk and CNC Mill and Lathe Non-Credit Trainers.

Part-Time Academic Support Clerk (Evenings and Weekends)

This position assists students, staff, and other users of library and academic support services. Essential duties and responsibilities include performing circulation/front-line desk activities; assisting students with computer, printer, and equipment problems; assisting with testing and tutoring front-line services as needed; preparing service points at opening, securing materials at closing, and reporting technology and maintenance issues; and assist with collection maintenance tasks such as reshelving, locating lost items, shelf reading, and displays.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Six months of directly applicable experience is preferred.
  • Communication and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented setting.

CNC Mill and Lathe Non-Credit Trainers (Part Time Temporary Applicant Pool)

Montgomery County Community College is searching for a part-time CNC Mill and Lathe Instructor to teach its
CNC Machinist program at the Pottstown and/or Blue Bell campuses.

Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:

  • Experience instructing on the use of precise mechanical measurement instruments and their application to
    determining geometric tolerance for CNC Lathe and Mill programming.
  • Prior instructional experience is desirable but can be waived for experienced professionals.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory-level experience in operating and instructing on HAAS (or comparable
    equipment) CNC Mill and Lathe technology.

This is an applicant pool position. Montgomery County Community College maintains applicant pools for part-time
temporary/casual positions. These applicant pools are utilized to gather a pool of interested applicants from which
the department can review and hire as positions become available.
