The Philly Specials are Back with Kelce Brothers for Another Christmas Album

The Philly Specials return for a third and final Christmas album with the Kelce Brothers, Boys II Men and more.

The Philly Specials are back with another upcoming Christmas album, reports Dan DeLuca for The Philadelphia Inquirer. The singing lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles wrapped the recording of their third album at Elm Street Studios in Conshohocken

Players Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata are joined once again by their retired teammate, Jason Kelce. But the trio is expected to have help. Others making an appearance are Philadelphia’s Boyz II Men, Delco’s Devon Gilfillian, and Kelce’s brother Travis.

The Kelce brothers join together with Boyz II Men for the album’s first single, Christmas Time (in Cleveland Heights).

”The song is about being away from home on the holidays,” Jason Kelce said. “I think musicians and athletes and a lot of people can empathize with that. You end up thinking about it, and yearning for the time when you were back home.”

The single releases on Friday, Nov. 1, and the full album on Nov. 29.

Executive Producer of the album and former Eagle, Connor Barwin says there will be surprise guests on the album but does not want fans to get their hopes up that Travis Kelce’s girlfriend might make an appearance.  “Taylor Swift is not on the record,” he said.
