Lambertville Bakehouse Celebrates Reopening with Locally-Sourced Delights
The Lambertville Bakehouse officially re-opened its doors on Friday, Sept. 6, reports Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The bakery is under the direction of pastry chef Justin Dwyer and his partner Aastha Aron. After relocating from Manhattan, the duo offers a menu featuring classic baked goods made from locally-sourced ingredients.
Their opening menu includes fresh favorites such as croissants, sourdough bread, muffins, pound cake, scones, biscuits, and cookies. To complement these treats, they also offer a selection of coffees, teas, and juices.
“We will be catering to the local community while also partnering with local vendors to serve the community,” says Justin, who is eager to connect with local residents.
In addition to their daily offerings, the Bakehouse now takes custom orders for cakes, pastries, and other baked goods as the business grows.
“Opening a bakery has always been a dream for us,” says Aastha. “Food has always been a way for us to show and share love and support. We look forward to getting to know our new customers and becoming a part of the community.”Justin and Aastha were inspired to move to Lambertville after a weekend visit to the town. They fell in love with its walkable streets, friendly residents, and the slower pace of life compared to New York City.
The Lambertville Bakehouse, located at 61 N. Main Street, will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept. 6–8. A weekday schedule will be announced soon.
