Newtown-based EPAM Systems will pay $630 million for Miami technology consulting firm Neoris, according to documents filed with the SEC.

Newtown-based EPAM Systems, a global leader in software engineering and management with 52,000 employees across six continents, is acquiring technology consulting firm Neoris, based in Miami, for $630 million, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Bucks County tech company entered into a stock purchase agreement to buy the Florida-based Neoris from a fund managed by private equity firm Advent International and construction materials company Cemex. Neoris has over 4,700 employees throughout the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.

The deal is expected to be finalized in the last quarter of 2024.

The deal will help EPAM expand its reach to Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets, as well as clients across Latin America.

According to EPAM CEO Arkadiy Dobkin, the deal will “significantly strengthen our presence in [Latin America] while we continue to enhance our differentiated delivery capabilities across Europe, India, and [Asia Pacific].”

The acquisition of Neoris is EPAM’s largest deal so far this year. The company acquired Argentina-based software development company Vates S.A. in March, in another move to expand its presence in Latin America. In June, EPAM bought health sciences analytics firm Odysseus Data Services.

EPAM was founded in 1993 and it had over 52,650 employees in six continents as of the second quarter.
