With School Back in Session, Now Is the Time to Nominate a Teacher for the Citadel Heart of Learning Award
With school back in session, there’s no better time to shine a light on the educators who are inspiring students every day.
Citadel Credit Union is once again accepting nominations for the Citadel Heart of Learning Award, a program designed to honor exceptional teachers across the region. As students settle back into classrooms, Citadel is encouraging parents, students, and community members to recognize the hard work and dedication of teachers who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact.
The award celebrates teachers who inspire, motivate, and make a difference in the lives of their students. Whether through innovative teaching methods, personal mentorship, or simply being a positive influence, these educators play a critical role in shaping future generations.
Since the program’s inception in 2001, Citadel has awarded the winners more than $500,000 in grants, enabling them to enhance their classrooms with new resources aimed at fostering educational excellence.
“We are immensely proud of the Citadel Heart of Learning Awards and the incredible educators it celebrates,” said Bill Brown, Citadel’s President and CEO. “Reaching the half-million-dollar mark in donations underscores our long-term commitment to supporting teachers who are shaping the future through their passion and dedication. These teachers not only educate but also inspire and uplift their students, often going above and beyond their call of duty. It is our honor to recognize their extraordinary efforts and provide them with the resources they need to continue their invaluable work.”
The public can submit a written nomination form online, a video nomination, or e-mail at CitadelHeartofLearning@CitadelBanking.com.
