See Which Philadelphia Neighborhood Made List of Most Envied Suburban Lifestyles in America
Before the pandemic, most people considered metropolitan areas like New York City, San Francisco, and Miami as the perfect places to live, writes Thomas Curry for the Moving Feedback.
However, the flexibility in work arrangements that became prominent during the pandemic has put the spotlight on suburban lifestyles that offer the best urban and rural settings.
Moving Feedback wanted to determine which suburbs across America have the most appeal, so the publication ran an online panel survey of 3,000 adults in the USA.
In Philadelphia, the only neighborhood that has made the list of 175 suburbs with the most envied lifestyles across the nation is Chestnut Hill, which ranked at No. 107.
Chestnut Hill is a charming neighborhood in the northwestern part of Philadelphia known for its historic homes and beautiful gardens. It boasts several parks and hiking trails. It is also home to many boutique shops and art galleries, as well as restaurants.
Chestnut Hill is one of five Pennsylvania suburbs to make the list. Fox Chapel (No. 62), Hershey (No. 72), Manheim Township (No. 131), and Sewickley (No. 152) also made the list.
