DelVal and Penn State Abington Announce Pathway to Master’s in Healthcare Administration
Delaware Valley University (DelVal) and Penn State Abington have announced an agreement to create a five-year pathway program so undergraduates enrolled in four Abington majors may earn a Master of Science degree in healthcare administration from DelVal in a faster and more affordable manner.
Abington students may take up to nine credits of coursework at DelVal during their final year at Abington at no charge and complete their master’s degree in healthcare administration at DelVal within three years at DelVal’s prevailing tuition rate. The online program is open to Abington students majoring in business, health humanities, psychological and social sciences, and rehabilitation and human services.
“This partnership with DelVal provides an affordable and focused path to in-demand careers in health care administration. Students can use their undergraduate degrees in business and healthcare-related fields to customize their experience so that they can pursue their passions,” said Abington Chancellor Gary Liguori.
“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Penn State Abington to offer students an accelerated pathway to graduate studies in healthcare administration, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to lead and transform the future of healthcare,” said Joseph Paris, DelVal’s dean of graduate and professional studies.
Abington students may begin the process by completing the request for information form. Applications for pre-admission to the 4+1 pathway will be accepted during the second semester of their sophomore year through the first semester of their senior year.

- Must be at least a second-semester junior at Abington through the second-semester of their senior year
- Minimum of 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Declared in any of the following Abington majors: business (all options), rehabilitation and human Services, psychological and social sciences, and health humanities
